So what exactly is MiFi?
In a nutshell, MiFi is a 3g enabled standalone device which captures a 3g signal from a mobile network and converts it into a local WiFi network. Whereas, ‘traditional’ Mobile Broadband Dongles provide broadband connectivity to a single device (typically via USB connection), the MiFi device can provide internet connectivity to a number of different devices simultaneously.
